Chocolate Rose

To describe the modern rose

When I can’t refer to

her shape against her clothes

How I loathe that I fail to disclose

That she has a radiant glow

Does she knows, that I forgo alone

Within this deepest monotone

Whenever I’m expose to her devilish shadow

It’s weeping willow

A hypocritical oath

That I dread I will be overexpose

To growth of these shows

Why do I feel these dominos

When we could be getting Domino’s

I’m merely a sloppy joe

Whiles she’s a chocolate rose
